it all started on summer 2021

My first intention to learn coding started while playing video games. Since i was a kid, i always wanted to make my own games and characters.

n.b: i draw as well.

1337 School

On 2021 summer, i attended 1337 pool, met new people and made my first real steps into coding world.

I learned C, it was a bit hard but it went from hello world to dealing with data structures pretty fast.

Had the opportunity to meet some amazing people from whom i learned new stuff.

in each step forward it just kept getting interesting.

Minishell

C Project

It was my first group project, after working couple of C projects where i gained a lot of confidence to learn concepts on my own. The idea was to build a shell from scratch, parsing the data passed on the prompt, handle the different cases, such as pipes, redirection, simple Bash commands and execute it was my responsibility.

It was a bit of struggle at first sight, but each phase done made me more curious and excited.

By the end of the project, i was sure that i'm able to create anything using just blocks of code.

In addition, i worked on other interesting C projects, Cube3D was a special one, where we built a 3D maze game. You can check it on my Github.

C++ Project

One of the most thrilling projects i worked on, a group project where you should build a web server with C++.

I learned a lot about HTTP servers, how the requests are handled, and the appropriate responses for each case of the different request methods.

My first web app, our goal was to build a platform where you can play real time with other players.

The main idea was to offer some thrilling ping pong games, connect with friends, engage in lively chats and build a community by adding friends.

Achieve milestones and earn cool achievements that showcase your progress.

My first project as Front-end Developer, a project that i really enjoyed, and the one behind my obsession with web development.

Working with new frameworks and tools like next.js, tailwind and figma. The project was done after 2 months of hard work and challenges.
